Cambodia is a place with the meaning of ancient for me. It seems like hidden a great story behind that...
A two hours flies was bring us to the heart of Siem Reap. Yes, Siem Reap is the first place where we were in Cambodia, and also the Temples of Angkor located.
Mr. Tuktuk is already at the entrance of airport with a board of "Mandalay Inn, Cindy", you may curious about who is the 3rd party-cindy..no, there is no 3rd party, that is Sinyee false name.
After a satisfied breakfast, we bought a 3 Days Angkor Pass and started our Angkor discovery.
There is 3 type of Angkor ticket you can buy $20 for 1day, $40 for 3days and 1week is $60. It is US dollar. They only use riels for small change.
The two days in Angkor is an undescribable experience. When I was standing in front of it, it's crazy...because it's so AMAZING! I saw the glorious of the olden days of Angkor and i was impressed that.
I don't know how to describe my feeling, but surely that two days is not enough for visit Angkor. Definitely we will be visiting again.
Other than that, people here is nice...we met a number of people in Angkor and of course the local people who work in Mandalay Inn. The two days in Siem Reap we met a lot, we talked a lot, and we learn a lot.
Remember one Canadian uncle was told us that he is more understanding himself everytime he travel. That is true, you will discover the intrinsic of yourself. Sometime we need to get out of our comfort zone, and that is a gift we could give ourselve anytime.
You know what?
The Angkorian period spans more than 600 years from AD802 to 1432. This incredible period of history saw the construction of the temples of Angkor and the Khmer empire consolidate its postition as one of the great powers in Southeast Asia.
