Celio
Celio
Doraemon(我朋友的名字)不知道几时
Film SLR
Holgas
Holga 120CFN

wt!!! Today when i'm reading "A Quiet Belief in Angel", one of the paragraph is startled me!
Some people may remember that i was told them about the undescribable smelt, when i was sitting on the garden of S-21 Prison in Cambodia.....When the author describe the smelt of a murder scene, one word comes out, that is exactly the smelt I can't describe....."the stink of cooper", the undescribable smelt i found.

20090927 The Kingdom of Cambodia - Part3
The 3rd day in Cambodia, we took a 5hrs boat to Battambang on Tonle Sap Lake. Tonle Sap Lake is a combined lake and river system of huge importance for Cambodia. It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia. And recently Floating Village on Tonle Sap is become as a tourist attraction in Cambodia.
I like Battambang is because it's simple, although it's the 2nd largest city in the country, and also the largest paddy field in Cambodia.
When we pass by a small village, children here are happily studying at their small space beside their house. They have no beautiful clothes, they have no good stationery, they even have no fan in their small open air school, but they just listen careful from their big boy(teacher).
However, the 4th day we went to Phnom Penh, it is a huge gap of living style with Battambang & Siem Reap. 4W Lexus is all the way, although it is much more beggars in the street also.
Seriously, I don't like this city. The first day i reached here, I miss Siem Reap a lot. I don't know, maybe I just don't like CITY....
But undoubtedly, sky here is really beautiful...sky only? hahaha....the 5th and 6th day we just visiting around in Phnom Penh.
My trip is over at the time i was going to airport..and my last question in Cambodia is "when could i come back again?"...

20090927 The Kingdom of Cambodia - Part2
A two hours flies was bring us to the heart of Siem Reap. Yes, Siem Reap is the first place where we were in Cambodia, and also the Temples of Angkor located.
Mr. Tuktuk is already at the entrance of airport with a board of "Mandalay Inn, Cindy", you may curious about who is the 3rd party-cindy..no, there is no 3rd party, that is Sinyee false name.
After a satisfied breakfast, we bought a 3 Days Angkor Pass and started our Angkor discovery.
There is 3 type of Angkor ticket you can buy $20 for 1day, $40 for 3days and 1week is $60. It is US dollar. They only use riels for small change.
The two days in Angkor is an undescribable experience. When I was standing in front of it, it's crazy...because it's so AMAZING! I saw the glorious of the olden days of Angkor and i was impressed that.
I don't know how to describe my feeling, but surely that two days is not enough for visit Angkor. Definitely we will be visiting again.
Other than that, people here is nice...we met a number of people in Angkor and of course the local people who work in Mandalay Inn. The two days in Siem Reap we met a lot, we talked a lot, and we learn a lot.
Remember one Canadian uncle was told us that he is more understanding himself everytime he travel. That is true, you will discover the intrinsic of yourself. Sometime we need to get out of our comfort zone, and that is a gift we could give ourselve anytime.
You know what?
The Angkorian period spans more than 600 years from AD802 to 1432. This incredible period of history saw the construction of the temples of Angkor and the Khmer empire consolidate its postition as one of the great powers in Southeast Asia.
20090927 The Kingdom of Cambodia - Part1
The full name of Cambodia should be "The Kingdom of Cambodia", and it known as Cambodge in Français. Khmer is same as Cambodian in Khmer language. So when you hear Khmer, don't be confused, it means Cambodian.
Well, this is my first backpacking in my life, and after my new zealand trip i never been oversea again. Almost 15 years after, today, I take plane again. Of course is no more MAS, it is pricey for me. So, i take Air Asia, the first experience is feeling scary, due to the sound emitted from the engine. But still fine, i just feel like i was taking train rather than plane. hahaha.
Yea, my life of backpacking is started. I've been completely daze on everything. Start from the planning of Cambodia, doing passport, packing my bag, the process in airport until the arrival on Cambodia..etc...everything. But, well this is a nice place to start over my backpacker life.
Some people may curious, why cambodia? A number of people asked me this question before i depart. I have no idea actually. I never think that I would stand in front of Angkor Wat one day. I have no fancy of Angkor but Taj Mahal. So, it is just an accident happened due to the low price of air.
And people like to ask me, "why you always love those poor country?". haha, I have no answer for this too. Emmm...I think it is not a matter of the country is poor or rich, is the places attracted. That is the main point.
So, I think those backpacking is cool, because I'm young to do so, the more exploration is filling my mind. I would be the frog who hope that one day could be jump out the well.
